1. Review of Guidance to Licensing Authorities
A consultation on a new edition of Guidance to Licensing Authorities (GLA) has been launched. GLA is the Commission’s formal guidance on all of the functions of licensing authorities under the Gambling Act 2005
2. Treasury consultation on point of consumption tax
Taxing remote gambling on a place of consumption basis: consultation on policy design has been launch on HM Treasury’s website.

April’s Licensing Authority Bulletin is now available online.

HMRC has recently launched MGD specific pages on their website : http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/machinegamesduty/index.htm This guide tells you what MGD is, how it will work and what you need to do if it affects you.
The Responsible Gambling Trust was officially launched on Tuesday 17 April 2012, following the merger of The GREaT Foundation and Responsible Gambling Fund.
